What this year is
The 2027 Akh Ascension Journey walks the entire Akh Ascension path across one year. Ancient African spiritual traditions, Ancient Egypt, and Nubia hold the map this path follows, the nine bodies of light that make up a whole person. Most teaching hands you that map in an afternoon and leaves you to walk it alone. This year does the opposite. One body of light gets a full month, which lets you practice it in your own life rather than hearing about it once. Those three gates unfold in order, from recognition through release to the reframe that changes how you measure a life.
The circle stays private and closed. What happens inside stays inside, which is what lets a woman bring her real life into the room. Minister Dr. Akila Ka Ma'at leads every live session herself. The group walks the same month together rather than scattering across a library of courses. Company matters more than content here, because most people abandon a self-directed practice in the second week, when the novelty ends before the results arrive. A year of practice with other women carries you straight through that gap.

This Journey serves any woman who wants melanin spirituality to shape how she sees herself and how she moves through the world. The Akh Ascension gives her a way to understand melanin as a source of power rather than a mark the world uses against her. Across twelve months, she draws on that power to build self-worth that doesn't depend on anyone's approval. Personal power follows as she learns to direct her energy instead of scattering it. Legacy gives the Journey its second purpose. A woman who joins wants more than her own transformation. She wants to pass forward an understanding of melanin as the Shining, as effectiveness, and as spiritual authority that no one can own or take away. Ancient Egypt measured the Akh by what a person's actions produced for others, which makes legacy the natural end of this path. Her children, her community, and the women who come after her inherit a truth she has practiced for a full year. Beginners and longtime practitioners both belong here, because the Journey gives everyone the same map.

How the year unfolds
January opens the threshold before any single body arrives. That month hands everyone the same map, including the power of melanin within and upon the body, the nine bodies of light, the three gates, and Ma'at. February through October walk the gates in order, one body each month. November holds all nine bodies working together in an ordinary week, since you never set down anything you learn on this path. December closes with the Shining Ceremony, where the circle speaks each woman's name out loud.

Inside a Chamber Reading
The Chamber Reading is the most personal hour of the Journey. Once a month, Minister Dr. Akila Ka Ma'at opens a seventy-five minute live session and reads four members, one at a time. Each reading runs twelve to fifteen minutes and takes up one area from that woman's life or her Path Prescription. Everyone else in the circle sits in the room as a witness. Witnessing does real work, since a woman listening to another member's reading often hears her own pattern named. Seats rotate through the year, and women who haven't sat yet come first.

What it costs
The Journey carries a regular price of $2,500 for the year. A 2027 member pays $528 for the whole year, which equals twelve months at The Temple rate of $44. That founding rate closes December 31, 2026. This rate discounts nothing about the work. The first year opens at that number for the women who built this room alongside Power Prophet TV. Temple membership also stays open to general members after this year, and the general rate becomes $67 a month on January 1, 2027.

How you join
Every woman enters the Journey through an application. The application opens October 1, 2026 and closes December 31, 2026, and Minister Dr. Akila Ka Ma'at reads every one herself as it arrives. Nobody uses this form to turn anyone away. She wants to know your commitment to this path and why this particular year matters to you. Your answers let her shape the twelve months around the women in the circle. A private space on the application holds your own circumstances. She reads every word of that herself.
- Apply. The application takes about twenty minutes and asks for honest answers rather than impressive ones.
- Hear back. Your answers reach her directly. She responds with your seat and a payment link.
- Hold your seat. That seat stays yours for a week while you complete payment.
- Prepare. You receive the Black Light Initiation eGuide, Akh Ascension Practice eWorkbook, Out of Darkness eBook, and a note on setting up your practice space.
- Begin. The Journey officially opens, January 5, 2027, with the first live session in January.
Questions and Answers
Is this for beginners?
Yes. The Journey gives a beginner and a longtime practitioner the same map, and January starts everyone at the same threshold. Nothing assumes you watched the series on Power Prophet TV.
What happens if I miss a live session?
Every discussion leaves a replay inside The Temple, which lets you watch on your own time. The practice continues either way, since the daily work happens in your own house.
Do I have to show my face?
No. Witnesses choose whether to turn a camera on, and microphones stay muted during a reading. A woman in the Chamber seat chooses how much she brings.
Is this a religion?
No. This is a practice rather than a religion, with no conversion, no deity worship, and no lifestyle law. You keep your own faith, your own family, and your own life.
Will everyone get a Chamber seat?
Seats rotate through the year, and women who haven't sat yet come first. You request a seat through a short form in The Temple, and witnessing carries real value on the months you don't sit.
Can I join after January?
The circle walks the year in order. The doors close once it begins. Apply before December 31 to walk 2027 with this group.
What if my circumstances are tight right now?
Write about them in the private space on the application. Minister Dr. Akila Ka Ma'at reads every word herself. Nothing you write there travels anywhere else.
Does the Nine-Body Reading come with it?
Your discount does. Every member pays half the regular $111 rate. The reading returns as a written Path Prescription in her own words.

The power was always yours. Walking the gates clears what covered it. A year of practice turns that clearing into a life. Twelve months from now, you can reach your own power on an ordinary morning.
